Pantelakis Securities S.A. was founded in 1920 by the Pantelakis family and is one of the oldest and most historic brokerage firms in Greece.
Throughout its long history, it has played an active role in the development of the Greek capital market, maintaining a consistently strong presence in serving private and institutional investors.
In 1991 the company acquired an international dimension, when a majority stake was transferred to Midland Bank and the company was renamed Midland Pantelakis Securities.
Following the acquisition of Midland by the HSBC Group, it continued its operations as HSBC Pantelakis Securities and subsequently as HSBC Securities. In 2012 a group of investors led by Nikos Pantelakis returned the company to Greek ownership, acquiring all of its shares and restoring the name Pantelakis Securities S.A.
In October 2026, CrediaBank acquired 70% of the share capital of Pantelakis Securities S.A., marking the company’s entry into the CrediaBank Group. This strategic partnership further strengthens the company’s capabilities in the provision of investment services and creates new growth prospects, leveraging the complementarity of the two organisations and their combined expertise in banking, investment and brokerage services.
